Dmarcus was up at 9 in the morning, he did his morning routine, brushed his teeth, washed his face, applied a peel off mud mask, showered, tidied up his place then started cooking breakfast. He decided to make some oatmeal, something quick & easy, he like to add some cut up bananas & peanut butter in his oatmeal. When he finished eating he sent Melissa a dm on instagram. Flyguy_Marc: Good morning beautiful 🌸 I'm off work today & would like to take you out later on tonight, let me know if your down to hang out. He looked at the text for a minute then finally had the courage to send it. Almost 10 minutes went by & his phone vibrated. Prettygurl_Mel: Good morning 🙂 it's funny cause I'm off today too, I'd love to go out with you tonight but can you tell me where we are going. Dmarcus wanted to respond asap but didn't want to seem thirsty so he let 5 minutes pass. Flyguy_Marc: It's a surprise, don't worry it will be somewhere nice, new & with great food & drinks. *Ding* Prettygurl_Mel: Well alright I'll get myself together & find an outfit, look forward to dinner with you. Flyguy_Marc: Ok pretty girl 😘 see you at 8 hope you're ready by then. Dmarcus threw on a tank top, some joggers & some air forces. This was his outfit to get himself together, he was on his way to the barbershop & to downtown to shop for a outfit for tonight, not that he needed one his closet was full of new stuff he never wore. When the barber was finish with Dmarcus tape up he felt like a new man & was feeling himself, his shape up was tea. He gave the barber $15 dollars in cash & said " till next time nigga". After his tape up he went to Macy's to pick out his outfit. Soon as he stepped in the store on Fulton street some annoying ass associate approached him " Welcome to Macy's sir can I help you find anything" Dmarcus replied " no thank you, I just want to look around & hopefully pick out anything I like" she replied as Dmarcus was walking towards the men section " alright well let me know if you need anything". He was already annoyed but tried not to let it show, he refused to give people the reaction they wanted.     Marcus finally left the store after browsing for 55 minutes, his total came up to 331.62, but he used his rewards & got 25% off so he only paid 248.71. He decided on a blue I.N.C fitted button up shirt, some dkny jeans, & the Dior Men's Sauvage cologne. Now he was on his way to foot locker to get a pair of shoes to go with his outfit, he wanted to look casual but he also didn't want to look like a typical street nigga. He settle for some Nike Air Force 1s low rise, paid 115 & finally made his way back to the house.       All that time he spent downtown & it was still only 5 o'clock. That gave him time to roll up a blunt, meditate, shower & get dressed. By 6:30 he was dressed, he put some Sauvage on, one of his chains & texted Melissa. Flyguy_Marc: Hey pretty girl, I never got your address I'm about to leave out the door to come get you. By 7:00 Melissa finally texted him back, meet me in front of this café, I don't give my address out, 7025 Linden rd. He looked it up on his Apple Maps & it was only a 23 minute drive, he left out the house, locked the door, got in his car & turned on the radio to 97.1, he stopped at a flower shop & got Melissa some flowers, he planned on taking her to a new place he scrolled pass on instagram , he never been there & trying new things was on his agenda. When he got in front of the cafe, he stepped out the car & walked to the other side so he can open the passenger door for Melissa. He said to her as she approached the car " you look beautiful" she replied " thank you. You don't look to bad your & you smell good" he chuckled & handed her the flowers, then opened the passenger door for her to get in. She was wearing a bodycon burgundy dress, red bottoms to match, some white pearls around her neck & a Michael Kors clutch, 16 inch bob cut side part. She put on strawberry shortcake 'BODY GLAZE' body butter from Canvas Beauty. On the drive to the restaurant Dmarcus asked Melissa " how was your day beautiful" she tried to hide her blushing & failed, Dmarcus just smirked. She replied " my day was good, it's been a while since I went shopping for new clothes, got my hair done, nails done, pedicure. It felt good to pamper myself for a change I get so wrapped up in making sure my clients stay off the streets & away from pimps I forget to look out for myself sometimes. Anyways sorry about the ramble tell me about your day." Dmarcus smiles & says " I asked because I wanted to know, what you call rambling I call venting. My day was good, I got dressed after hitting you up & went to Macy's where some annoying ass associate didn't even give me the time to browse for what I wanted. Before that I went to the barber shop to keep this line up looking how it's suppose to". Melissa giggled and said " I hate when store associates do that especially the men they either follow me around the whole store as if I'm stealing or immediately after I say I don't need help they try to get my number or some weird shit" Dmarcus laughed & they conversed the rest of car ride vibing & getting to know each other. They finally arrive & Dmarcus says " this is the garden bar & grill I was scrolling on insta & saw this place & thought it'd be cool to check it out. You ever been here?" Melissa replies " no I haven't but I've seen them trending on insta as well." He parked the car & they both got out, he held the door for her to walk in first. He asked the hostess for a table for two & they were immediately seated. A server came to their table & filled the two glasses with water & told them " here is the menu, I will be back to take the order when you are ready". They look at the menu & Dmarcus immediately looks at the drinks, Melissa chuckles & says " well damn don't even know what you want to eat yet but tryna get fucked up already huh" Dmarcus replies " ain't nothing to it but to get straight to it feel me" they both laugh & for a first in a really long time they both felt regular, no heartbreak, no stress, just regular & they both loved it. By the time the server came for their orders they both made up their minds on what they were going to get. Melissa ordered guac & chips, churrasco steak *skirt steak rice & beans, yuca fries & side salad* & a Levantarse, Coño. Dmarcus ordered spicy wings *8pc, traditional caesar salad, & a El Jardin.    After 15 mins of waiting for their food Dmarcus & Melissa were already deep in conversation. The server came with the order & drinks & said "enjoy" as he walked away. Melissa said after she tastes her food "not bad I would come back". Dmarcus replies " yeah these wings are good would you like one?", Melissa said " no thank you spicy foods don't really mix well with me but enjoy". Dmarcus replied " damn you don't know what you missing out on sweetheart, you like your Levantarse Coño?" Melissa says " pretty good how about your El Jardin?" Dmarcus replies " they aren't stingy with the alcohol but it's good" Melissa replies " so it's strong?" Dmarcus says " hell yeah".    The two were hitting it off really well, as Dmarcus turned to get the server's attention when he noticed Ashanti sitting 5 tables down, & she was with her college fling Keem. Melissa was talking to him for the past 5 minutes before she realized she was speaking to herself, she shift her gaze to what had his attention & her happy mood was immediately replaced with anger & envy. She claps her hands in Dmarcus' face & says "helloooo! Do you see me sitting here? What's the point in asking me out if you go blank everytime you see our exes" Dmarcus responds " Melissa I'm sorry, it's just been a while since I seen her & here was the last place I expected to run in to her at." Before Melissa could respond he told her to hold her thought & got up to walk over to the table where Ashanti & Keem were sitting, when he got to the table he said " hello Ashanti". When Ashanti looked at Dmarcus she looked right back down as if she was embarrassed to run in to him but Dmarcus knew that was just guilt beating her ass because he didn't deserve what she did to him, she replied " Hi Dmarcus, it's been a while how are you?" *Dakina Stories
