Dmarcus is sitting in his room, clothes everywhere, bear bottles & tissue cause he has been going crazy ever since Ashanti, a beautiful trans woman left him for her college fling. He hasn't been to work where he bartends because that is where he met her. He just didn't understand where he went wrong in there relationship, he starts to reminisce about the times they shared together & how happy they were up until she met Keem. 20 minutes went by & Dmarcus was still daydreaming about his memories with Ashanti, until it was interrupted by a knock on the door, he ignored it hoping whoever it was would just go away, he didn't want to be bothered. Then his cell phone rang & when he glanced he saw his bestfriend Atticus name on the screen, he let the phone ring out but his bestfriend wasn't giving up he called 3 more times & Dmarcus finally answered " yo what is it!" Atticus responds on the other end " aye yo Marc why the hostility I'm your boy, now get your ass up & answer this damn door I know you are in there" Dmarcus let out a loud sigh of frustration & went to answer the door for Atticus. After taking a look at Dmarcus & the house Atticus says " yo I need you to snap out of this man, you catching funky attitudes with me like a lil bitch, not working & drinking your life away man you never use to do this, I want my bestfriend back" Dmarcus replied " firstly I ain't no little bitch, & secondly I'm good man there's a lot on my mind" Atticus says " & by a lot on your mind you mean Ashanti, I get it you was in love bro but you gotta move on n get your life back, if she was to see you right now what would she say? & plus there's a thousand other women, real women out here for you man" Dmarcus replied " please keep your transphobia to yourself, you said you supported me when you found out I was with her, so please keep it respectful" Atticus responded " look man all I'm saying is I wan't you to get back on your feet, the real women part was a bit dragged but I don't mean no disrespect to her or you by it she is beautiful, but there are others out there n hey if trans are your thing then we can find you another one" they walk into the living room & sit on the couch, Dmarcus says " I wanted to marry her yo, then she turns around & leaves me for her little college fling, the same nigga that told the whole school she was a transgender" when he finished that sentenced he broke down & cried for the 10th time today, Atticus didn't respond this time he just patted his friend on the back & let him get all of his emotions out. When Dmarcus finally settled down Atticus says " alright man, we need to straighten up in here, you never let your place get this bad & your getting your funky ass in the shower so we can get out tonight, I don't want to hear it I let you be in your feelings for 7 months & I miss you so we out & we bagging ladies tonight, biological or not.". 2 hours later the fellas finished cleaning up & Dmarcus jumped in the shower, when the water hit his chocolate body he let his muscles relax & slowly began to feel better. When he got out the shower he dried off n wrapped his towel around his waist, he went to his room to find something to wear & decided he'd put on some skinny black jeans that weren't to tight but fit just right, a white tank top with a button up shirt over it with black & gold patterns. He went back into the living room & Atticus smiled & said " good to have you back man" Dmarcus just laughed & asked " where we going yo" Atticus said " it's this new spot in redhook I wanna try out I heard they have some bomb food there & decent drinks, then we going bowling" Dmarcus said " ayo that's going to look mad sus, two men eating together people will think we on a date Tic wtf" Atticus responded " so you can sleep with a trans but can't let your bestfriend take you out, if it'll make you feel better I will tell everybody that we are friends which isn't a lie & I wanted to get you out the house which isn't a lie either" Dmarcus said " alright yo".      Yo Tic this place is fire bruh, said Dmarcus. As the fellas continued to chop it up & drink Hennessy shots Dmarcus notices a girl who looked very familiar, he made a mental note to approach her if he ever saw her again.        After Atticus paid the tab he drove to Bowl 360 in Astoria Queens, he looked at Dmarcus who was nice & tipsy then said " yo Marc you ready to lose badly in bowling?" Dmarcus replied " are you dumb? You ain't seeing me in bowling" they laughed & Atticus said " yeah aii" he turned on the radio to 97.1 & they vibed out as what it is ( Block-boy) by Doechii ft Kodak Black blasted through the speakers. This is the first time Dmarcus has heard the song n he couldn't help but to bob his head back in forth in rhythm with the music. *Lyrics: What is hoe? wassup?
