The Life Of Dashiniquah Loves - 301

     14 years old Dashiniquah is sitting on her bed in the house staring out the window watching the people walk by on the block of Halsey street, she starts to daydream about her mother & 8 siblings but then her daydream is interrupted when Ms. Shyla the elderly foster mother of Dashiniquah & Storm's ( her foster brother) grandmother said " Quan if you want to go outside go ahead I don't know why you sitting in the house" irritated that Ms. Shyla just called her that Dashiniquah said " I don't really feel well today" Ms. Shyla said " okay, dinner will be ready in about 3 hours so suite yourself". Dashiniquah was born male & she deals with gender dysphoria, this often made it hard for her to fit in with the other kids at school in her neighborhood.          By 7:30 P.M, Storm was in the house & Ms. Shyla finished making dinner she cooked collard greens, fried chicken, white rice & corn bread. After Storm showered Ms. Shyla called both to the kitchen & they began eating dinner, Ms. Shyla asked Storm " have you spoken to Kai, his mother called me & told me he had the flu" Storm replied " no I haven't spoken to him since Friday when he was at school" Ms. Shyla said " okay next week you & Quan can go to his house" Storm said " okay but does Quan really have to come?" Finished with her food Dashiniquah put her plate in the sink & said " I really didn't want to go anyway" Ms. Shyla said " alright you two enough Storm, Quan is going end of story". After showering Dashiniquah is getting ready for bed to go to school tomorrow.     By 7:00 A.M., Dashiniquah is up & ready to go down the block to school, MS.369. Storm went to an all boys charter school & Dashiniquah went to a public school. Both in the 7th grade, Dashiniquah only 5 months older then Storm. When she gets down the block she see's one of her teachers Mr. Collin who she had the biggest crush on, he was 6'4 with waves & tattoos, she says good morning to Mr. Collin & he asked if she was going to behave today. By 1st period A.J came into class, A.J bullied Dashiniquah everyday & called her all types of names, this would cause Dashiniquah to act out in class & throw chairs around, Mr. Collins calmed her down & called her mother. By the end of the day Dashiniquah's mother was at the school, Dashiniquah was happy she didn't have to wait until Thursday to see her mother at little flowers agency. Alayna ( Dashiniquah's mother) told the school she didn't want to hear of this again or it would be a problem, after calming her down the dean Ms. Shiree told Alayna that the school didn't approve of A.J's behavior & they would send notify his mom. When they got outside the school Alayna said " you better kick they ass the next time you hear me" Dashiniquah said yes & Alayna walked her down the block to Ms. Shyla house, when they got to the house Ms. Shyla greeted her & asked what brings her by & she told Ms. Shyla about the incident Dashiniquah had at the school, Ms. Shyla said "I don't know why Quan let them teenagers do that to him, he beats them up around here" Dashiniquah irritated said " I am a girl & my pronouns are she /her!" before Ms. Shyla could say anything Alayna said " baby, you were born a boy, you only have a couple more years before you can transition if that's what you want okay?"
