As Keem wakes up from the couch, he looks over at Ashanti still sleeping & couldn't help but stare at her, he thought to himself "wow she is so beautiful even in her sleep". As he was about to leave the dorm Ashanti starts to wake up, he says good morning & it took her a minute to wake up fully but she replied with a good morning. Keem wanted to ask her if everything was alright between them because he noticed Ashanti started to act different after his girlfriend Melissa called him but he saw that she was waking up & didn't want to start off her morning asking about them, so he says " I'll see you in class" she replies " I'll see you in class" then he left the dorm. After spending an hour & a half getting ready Ashanti was ready for the day, she left the dorm & headed to her class. By the end of the day Ashanti felt really tired, as she was heading back to her dorm she saw Keem, he said " Hey baby momma" & winks at her she replies " Hey Keem" he was thrown off so he asked if it was okay to still call her baby momma she replied " I don't know, you should ask your girlfriend" Keem responded " Ashanti why are you acting like this? I told you about her before anything happened" Ashanti replied " I just feel wrong doing this" Keem replies " I understand, can we still be friends" she said " of course I just can't sleep with another girls man" he replied " understood". After the conversation was over Ashanti finished heading to her dorm, when she got there she threw her books on her bed then got in the shower, when she got out the shower she put on her pajamas. 6 months later, the fall semester has come to an end & Ashanti is excited to see her family & friends. She finished all her classes for today & was excited to get back in her dorm, her clothes was already packed so all she had to do was say later to Michelle. As she's walking down the hallway to her dorm she bumps in to Keem, he said " hey Ashanti, I know things got kind of hot between us but I just wanted to let you know I will miss you for the next 4 weeks" Ashanti responded " hey Keem & I will miss you too, I hope you enjoy the break with family & friends" Keem replied " same to you, I'll see you when we get back" Ashanti responded " yes indeed you will". When Ashanti got to her dorm she was tired but she wanted to waste no time getting to the airport so she can fly back home in NYC to see her father & friends that she missed so much. When she got off the plane her father was there to pick her up, he said " baby girl I have missed you so much, even though you called me regularly & I heard your voice I still love seeing my beautiful daughter" Ashanti said " I missed you too dad, & I know I think I was starting to get home sick" as they both catch up her father takes her luggage & they catch a cab back to Ashanti's house. When Ashanti gets home she insisted on helping her father with the luggage but he told her no he had it & if she asked again she was going to get a beating, Ashanti knew he was playing so they both laughed. When they get inside Ashanti's apartment she heard Lillian & Dee scream at the same time " hey bitch we missed you" Ashanti laughs & gives her friends hugs but when she went to hug Dee she noticed her belly & her mouth dropped wide open, she asked Dee " When did you get pregnant" Dee replied " girl I know you remember Aiden, I told Lillian not to tell you because I wanted you to be surprised" Ashanti replied " congratulations girl, your about to be a mom, how far are you?" Dee said " 5 months, but enough about me girl tell us all how is college treating you" Ashanti catches them up on everything that's went down at college & when she mentioned Keem, Lillian said " yes I remember him, how did things go between you guys" Ashanti said " I had to stop seeing him, I told him we can be friends but I don't see myself sleeping with another girls man & being okay with it, I will say though he is a fine piece of chocolate" they all laugh & Ashanti says alright Lillian its your turn, tell us well me what has been going on. Lillian tells Ashanti her & Derrick are now dating but taking things slowly & that everything has been alright. Ashanti & her friends spend the whole day catching up so when her father asked who was hungry all of them jumped up & ran to the table, Dee says " Ashanti girl your father fried chicken is amazing" her father replies " Well thank you Dee, I see you & the little one over there enjoying the food" Dee replies " No thank you & yes we are this little boy boy better keep this food down though because I will be so mad throwing all this good food up" they all laughed & talked for the rest of dinner. After dinner Ashanti took a shower, then went to her room & called Dmarcus, she missed him a lot & couldn't wait to see him. He answers the phone " hello beautiful" she blushes & tells him that she will be home for the next 4 weeks because she is on break, he responded " music to my ears, I could not get you out of my mind & I can't wait to see you" Ashanti replies " I missed you, & if you want you can come over tomorrow I will be home, my friends are most likely going to try to get me out the house tomorrow night though but we will see because one is now expecting" he replies " I can't wait to see you & trust me, you won't be going anywhere" Ashanti starts to smile & says " I can't wait to see you neither & why is that?" Dmarcus says "I plan on showing you tomorrow" Ashanti could not help but smile, they talked on the phone until Ashanti fell asleep, when he heard her snore in his ear he said " alright my beautiful Queen I will see you tomorrow, I love you" then he hung up the phone. The next day Ashanti wakes up does her morning routine then went to the kitchen where her father was making pancakes, sausages & eggs. He says " well good morning my beautiful princess" Ashanti says " good morning my lovely father who still takes very good care of his adult daughter" her father responded " you will always be my child no matter how old you get, as long as I can I will be taking care of you because your my baby girl" Ashanti smiled at how far her & her father's relationship has come, while Ashanti was deep in thought both Lillian & Dee came to the kitchen to say good morning, Ashanti's father says " good morning sleepy heads, you two are just in time for some breakfast, I was starting to think me & Ashanti would have to eat all this by ourselves" they all share laughs & sat at the table so they can eat breakfast. After breakfast Lillian & Dee took showers ( separately) so they can handle they're business, they say later to Ashanti's father & told Ashanti to call them later. Around 4:30 Ashanti was dressed & ready to see Dmarcus, she wondered if he would like to go to the movies with her then get something to eat. She didn't want to be in the house the whole 4 weeks of her break even though she loved spending time with her father she still wanted to go out & enjoy herself. The phone rings & interrupts Ashanti's music, she was listening to her favorite song molly love by Tink but when she saw it was Dmarcus calling she let him get a pass. She picks up the phone & says " Hey Dmarcus, I was just thinking about you" Dmarcus replied " Good afternoon beautiful, hopefully your thinking about taking things further" she smiled & they shared a giggle over the phone, she said " I was actually wondering if you would like to go to the movies then grab something to eat after, on me" he said " I would love to & I got it covered" Ashanti replied " great & how about we go half & half?" Dmarcus says " what time you want me to come over" completely ignoring her last sentence "she said, you can come now if your not busy my" Dmarcus said " cool, I will see you in an hour" At 5:15 Ashanti heard a knock at her door, when she opened it Dmarcus had flowers & a box in his hands. He handed Ashanti the flowers & told her, I'll give you this after our date. Ashanti smiled & said " thank you Dmarcus you really didn't have to do this" he replied " I know, I just missed your beautiful face so much I thought I should get you something, you look lovely as always" she wore a violet dress that hugged her body in all the right places, the couple of pounds she put on was noticeable because her ass poked out more then usual, her shoes matched the color of the dress & she had on her favorite earrings she got from her father for her 20th birthday, she replied " thank you, you look great as well". The movie was over & Ashanti was ready to go to her favorite restaurant so she can eat some food instead of theater snacks, they went to go see Invisible man & both of them shared laughs throughout the movie. Ashanti said "I'm having such a great time with you, I never really had a guy show as much care as you do & it feels really good" Dmarcus replied " I'm having fun as well, & I am only showing you how I feel about you, we can take things slow but one day I want you to be my wife so we can have beautiful kids & live a happy life" Ashanti blushed & was speechless, Dmarcus smirked as he drove to the restaurant, when they got there Ashanti was excited, they went to Crab House all you can eat seafood. When they get they're table the waitress asked if they were ready to order, Ashanti ordered jumbo crab legs with old bay, cajun garlic butter shrimp & crawfish with an long island ice tea on the side, while Dmarcus ordered pan seared salmon, steamed clams & steamed lobster with garlic butter, he got an Hawaiian sky to drink. While they were waiting for there food a guy came up to Ashanti & said hi, she was confused as to who it may be because Dmarcus was the only guy comfortable enough to be around her in public outside of her father, when she looked up & saw Keem she was in shock then he introduced his girlfriend Melissa, Ashanti says hi to them & the tension got kind of awkward but she hoped Dmarcus didn't notice. #StoriesByDakina Pt. 3
