Dakina's Stories 101

         Amari & Xavier's love & chemistry together was undeniable at first, Amari's confidence use to light up in any room she stepped in. Xavier was a very charming man, he knew exactly what to say to get people drawn into him. When they first got together everyone was happy for them, they knew how to challenge each other & help one another grow. But suddenly they have been very distant with one another. They've only been together for 5 years & her confidence just dropped like it was never there, Xavier became very aggressive & controlling, he never showed this in public though, his words became degrading & he started becoming jealous of everything. This came as a shock to Amari because she did not know who this man was. One day Amari was using Xavier's phone because her phone died, she notices a message from a girl named Jessica , but she ignored it & to continued to work off of Xavier's phone. Then Jessica texted again but this time the messaged showed on the phone, Amari couldn't  believe what she saw. "Babe I had a great time last night, you should come spend the weekend with me", the tears just rolled down Amari's face, she went to confront Xavier & he got really angry, he said "bitch I let you use my phone so you can work, why the fuck are you going through my messages?" she replies "nigga nobody went through your shit, your hoes was texting you & the whole message popped up on the phone" Xavier punched Amari in the face. She got up he said "babe I'm sorry it will never happen again" she went to the room & went to bed. The next morning Amari wakes up & Xavier was getting ready for work, he notices her eye is swollen & he says "babe I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that to you" she says "it's fine, I'm okay". 6 months later Amari hasn't been feeling good for about two weeks, she went to buy a pregnancy test & the test came back positive, she told Xavier  & he started laughing. She asked him what what was funny, he replied "remember Jessica? Well she's pregnant too." Amari snaps " so first you cheat on me with this bitch & now she's pregnant with your baby, how far is she?" he said " she's 4 months". Amari turned around & packs her bags, Xavier asks her where she's going & Amari replied "I can't do this, I'm getting the fuck away from you, take care of your baby is all I ask". She turn around to continue packing, when she felt this sudden pain because Xavier snatched her hair from behind & started choking her, he said "bitch if you think you leaving me you must be crazy" she tried to tell him be careful but couldn't get the words out because she couldn't breathe. He finally let her go & she gasped for air, he said "look what you made me do & started crying, he said baby I'm sorry it won't happen again" she heard that before but didn't care about him all she cared about at this moment was her life & her baby. She told him she loved him & that she could never leave him, they went to bed. Amari wakes up around 3 in the morning, she grabs her bag of clothes she packed earlier & makes her way through the house to front door, she heard movements from the bedroom, Xavier was getting up. She opens the door & runs as fast as she could to the nearest bus stop. Xavier looks around the house for Amari then notices the front door is open, he started calling Amari but she doesn't answer, he left a voicemail & said " where ever you go I'll find you, your carrying my kid so you'll have to see me eventually". The bus finally came, Amari gets on the bus & while she's sitting down she listens to the voicemail Xavier sent her & starts to cry.
